Ever have a "bad day?" Today is Monday and in America, that is everyone's "standard" bad day. Everyone blames anything annoying on the day. Though this is completely ineffective, we all still do it. :-)
However, I want to remind myself and all of us of the Master we serve. He spun this earth with a spoken Word and flung the galaxies into existence by the mention of their names. He then fashioned humanity as His personal masterpiece. His very action of personal creation gives all of us incredible worth and value. He only took moments to speak so much of His magnificent creation into existence but then He stooped to earth with His own hands to individually form a likeness of Himself and breathe into that creation His very own breath giving it life eternal.
To each of us He has perpetuated that breath of life. To us He has given us the gift of living. It makes me thrill at the joy of it all. Even in its moments of chaos and agony, this living is rich in every facet, texture, and moment.
Today I Have posted one image from the Hubble space telescope. It is one of many brilliant images you may peruse and enjoy if you click on it. As you enjoy these images, don't just glance at them. Take time to consider them and remember they are part of the magnificent creation of our Lord. And, on this Monday, may they be a reminder to us that whether the day is good or bad, we are in the hands of This Creator.
